The Things We've Made.

We are in the middle of our NO MEDIA of ANY KIND week.  And the kids and I have been busy filling in the hours with crafts and projects, cleaning and chores, and so very many books.
Breakfast this morning was warm bagels with cream cheese and berries, hot tea and beading crafts.

Yesterday, we went on a scavenger hunt and pulled out some Florida-found shells with holes in them to make a nature wind chime.
The peace in my children is almost unnerving.  Not that they were full of strife before, but there has been a significant change both together and individually.
Our porch is now adorned with a very "hippie" type decor but we love it b/c a lot of work went into it!
We have more key chains than we have keys...

And we have filled jars and jars with special finds.
Eric and I thought this would be a lovely way to unplug and reset before Easter and so far we kind of love it.
