Butterfly Adventures


We planted lots of milkweed in hopes of seeing butterflies hatch.  Unfortunately, the lizards kept eating the baby caterpillars before they could chrysalis so we decided to save some.  We have been feeding caterpillars for weeks now.  We have lost a few to natural causes but we have released more grown butterflies than we have lost.  I think we have 2 more to hatch and then this mama needs a bug break!

They are beautiful though!
