Leaf Warriors

 For the end of our L unit for homeschool, the kids made leaf crowns.  They turned out way cooler than I had imagined. 

side note: isn't my fall decor beautiful?!  Eric has taken me back 3xs now to get more flowers and pumpkins for the house!  Love him.  And my festive foliage! 

Air force museum 2015

 While visiting the Smith family in Ohio we planned a trip to the air force museum due to chilly weather and the need to get out of the house with several small children in tow.

 Mathias and papa had the best time together learning about all of the cool exhibits.  It was like we had our own personal tour guide.

 Eric surprised ALL of us by driving up after his plane landed in TN from his work trip to the south.

 Mathias really got a kick our of the astronaut food.

 And this is my new favorite picture with dad.

 The kids gave the flight simulator a try...

 Luckily, daddy was a big help to the girls.

 And then Brielle was done.  She spent most of the trip on the floor or in Eric's arms wailing.

 But we got to see my dad's dad's company banner, which was a new addition.

Ohio Weekend

 

The kids and I have loaded up and jetted off to Ohio to visit my dad's family this weekend.  The drive down was actually really successful and the longest I have driven alone with the 3 little people.  Lots of snacks and movies were the key!  Have a great weekend.

We snapped this sweet picture just after church.  It was about 8 hours later we were all out with food poisoning for the next few days.  

Lego lessons

Mathias has been patiently teaching the girls how to sort and build complicated Lego creations each morning.It is so cute to see him come up with lessons and teach very patiently to 2 very eager learners.  I just sip my coffee and watch!

Pumpkins in the rain

Today we picked out fall flowers and pumpkins in the freezing cold rain. Coffee and cozy blankets immediately followed.

Er visit

Brielle sliced her thumb open on a very sharp knife that she wasn't allowed to touch in the garage. My kitchen looked like a crime scene because it refused to stop bleeding so off to the ER we went to get some glue and a tetanus shot. By mid afternoon she was good as new.

 

plus ice cream makes anything better :)
